Event Format: 2.5 hour live stream (11:00 a.m. to 01:30 p.m.).

Global Financial Forum is an expert platform for discussing key issues of long-term sustainable development of the world economy, harmonization and improvement of the financial agenda, development of new approaches to the implementation of the main objectives of the Paris Agreement. Each year the results of the Forum’s intensive discussions are presented at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP).

A series of meetings is held within the platform of the Ecumene Discussion Club, which is launched in order to develop ideas discussed at the Ecumene Forum and to create an expert community interested in receiving and exchanging relevant information about significant events in Russia and abroad.

What is the 2023 ESG Conference about? Rethinking ESG as a strategic driver for business transformation.

Despite external challenges, the ESG and sustainability agenda remains relevant for Russian companies. Investors, lenders, and rating agencies expect greater visibility into non-financial metrics to better understand companies’ various social and environmental risks.

There is a strong preference for ESG-compliant companies, and a lack of attention to sustainability and environmental issues is already reducing the pool of potential investors, lenders, business partners, and customers.

Forbes Woman Day, the first international summit dedicated to gender equality in business and society, was established in 2020 to create a space for broad discussion of women’s rights in all spheres of life, from business to politics. Since its inception, the event has attracted leading Russian and Western corporate executives, top diversity & inclusion experts, public figures, and international experts.

Event Format: A forum filled with discussions, TED-style talks, interviews, lectures, workshops.

Networking, workshops, mentoring, creative and intellectual lounges for socializing, business networking, relaxation and personal growth.

Event Format: Panel discussion + hands-on session, interactive survey of participants and an award ceremony based on the results of the ESG transparency ranking of Russian companies and banks.

Target Audience: Issuers in financial and non-financial markets, Russian ESG leaders, financial regulators, federal authorities, consulting and audit companies, mass media.

The goal of the Forum is to develop international cooperation for the improvement of the socio-economic wellbeing of the population.

The main goal of the conference is to exchange ideas and technology about the latest innovation developments dealing with risk mitigation, in particular:
- Disaster risk analysis;
- Supporting the UN Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (2015–2030) as a guiding framework document reflecting strategic objectives and priority areas for action and expected outcomes;
- Identification of innovative solutions for identification, analysis and assessment of various types of natural and technological hazards;
- Reduction of technogenic risks in oil and gas fields, urban areas, transport and industrial complexes;
- Providing scientific support to public policy frameworks in the area of integrated assessment of security risks;
- Eurasia geoinformation systems and aerospace exploration.

Industrial Ecology is the 6th annual conference organized by the business newspaper Vedomosti, focusing on current environmental trends, current challenges and state of the industry, prospects for environmental improvement of Russia’s production and industrial sectors.
